Frances Kerridge Beasley
December 18, 1914 - August 31, 2006
Frances K. Beasley, 91, of Savannah died Thursday August 31, 2006 at Hospice Savannah following a brief illness.
A native of Thomasville, Alabama, Mrs. Beasley married David S. Beasley in July of 1946 and moved to Savannah in 1953. She was a retired school teacher and an active member of Southside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her only child, Mary and her husband, Joseph T. Blackston; her only grandchild, Joseph T. and Blackston, Jr. and his wife Judy of Savannah and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday September 2, 2006 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday September 3, 2006 at Southside Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
Memorial contributions and dedications may be directed to either Southside Baptist Church or Hospice Savannah Inc.
Rippo, I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. You know my thoughts and prayers are with you and Tim. I hope to attend the service at the cemetery so I'll save a big hug for you then. God Bless......You know I never knew how to correctly spell 'Rippo' or what it stood for, I'm sure its an old endearing family secret. Anyway I hope I got it right and I hope it recollects a thought and a smile.
